Hand shaved , cherry smoked roast beef tossed with their house BBQ sauce, topped with house made cheese sauce. All piled high on a toasted brioche bun! Served with onion rings and sweet chili fry sauce. What the what? I'll take two! They are in Rangley at 2647 Main Street. If you are in the area...treat yourself!

Because sometimes you want a burger with fried oysters and an egg on it....

Yes you do! Well, at least I do. I love fried oysters and these guys do it right. I love them on all their sandwiches! They are right here in Portland at 1124 Forest Avenue. It's near the cluster@#$% of Morrill's Corner, but worth it!

This is "The Breakfast Pamwich," named for one of their favorite customers. It's a fried egg, american cheese, a deep-fried pork chop, scallions, and spicy sambal mayo on a roll.

This amazing creation comes from a food truck!! He parked at Buoy Park in Rockland and sold some of the most scrumptious looking sandwiches ever created. He wanted to sell his truck and open up an actual place. I don't know if it did sell it. But if he didn't, he'll be pack at Buoy Park.

THE COFFEE POT

These guys are on Broadway in Bangor and keep with tradition for their sandwiches. They use green peppers, onions, tomatoes, seasonings, toppings (salami, ham, turkey, roast beef, tuna or egg salad, cheese and pickles). They use freshly baked white or wheat rolls, and gluten free buns from local bakeries. Their customers are fiercely loyal and they are thrilled to make it on the list!

THE THIRSTY WHALE TAVERN

This pub is on Cottage Street in Bar Harbor, but don't expect snotty Bar Harbor food or prices. They are known for their lobster rolls, famous fish sandwiches, homemade chowders, seafood, burgers and more. And nothing goes better with a lobster roll than a nice cold one. They have plenty on tap.
