One of Maine's biggest stars, Anna Kendrick, is coming back home in November and you can meet her.

Anna is releasing her autobiography "Scrappy Little Nobody" on November 15, and she'll be at Books-A-Million in South Portland for a book signing on November 23.

A quote from Anna was published on Simon and Schuster's website that pretty much sums up her book and shows that its exactly what we'd expect from her.

I’m excited to publish my first book, and because I get uncomfortable when people have high expectations, I'd like to use this opportunity to showcase my ineptitude, pettiness, and the frequency with which I embarrass myself. And while many of my female inspirations who have become authors are incredibly well-educated and accomplished comedy writers, I'm very, very funny on Twitter, according to Buzzfeed and my mom, so I feel like this is a great idea.

Quick question: are run-on sentences still frowned upon? Wait, is ending a sentence with a preposition still frowned upon? I mean, upon frowned? Dammit!

If you pre-order your copy of the book through Books-A-Million's Eventbrite page, you can get your copy signed and get a picture with Anna. Tickets are limited and will sell out, so grab them while you can.
