The legendary Glastonbury Music Festival always features a full lineup of artists that spans a wide range of music. This year, acts include everyone from Arcade Fire and Jack White to the Sun Ra Arkestra and Dolly Parton. Among the headliners is Metallica, a band that Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner thinks is a bit out of place.

"I'm not sure it adds up," he told NME. "I know we'd buzz off it, but fundamentally, could you have Metallica in the hippie nucleus?" While Turner is a Metallica fan, and Arctic Monkeys have even shared a stage with the metal titans at the Orion Festival in 2012, he thinks the vibe of Glastonbury is a bad fit.

When Arctic Monkeys headlined the festival last year, Turner soaked in that vibe. "I did the stone circle thing," he said. "I was dressed as a crocodile. I remember wrestling James from Klaxons in the mud as the sun rose."

Metallica are the first metal band to headline Glastonbury in its 44-year history. Arcade Fire and Kasabian are also on board as this year's headliners. It all happens June 25-29.

Here's a little taste of that "hippie nucleus" -- Arctic Monkeys stripping down for an acoustic version of their hit 'Do I Wanna Know?':
