BC Beats BU In Overtime For Beanpot [VIDEO]

They have played the Beanpot Tournament for 64 years and when Boston College beat Boston University 1-0 in overtime it was the first 1-0 game in tourney history.

Alex Tuch scored 1:57 in OT for the game winner. Goalie Thatcher Demko stopped 30 shots to get his school record 9th shutout of the season. It was BC's 20th Beanpot title.

BU goalie Sean Maguire stopped 41shots and was named Beanpot MVP.

The game counts for overall seasonal record, not for Hockey East play.

BC is now 20-5-4. BU is 16-8-4.
