This guy just can't seem to find happiness or peace with music anymore. It's a shame. He's earned it. Listen to what he has to say now.

(see video of Billy talking below)

I'm always of the thought of just make music. Or just play basketball. Or just paint. Don’t worry about the stuff you can’t control. You’re gonna have fans and haters, believers and non-believers and there’s really nothing you can do about it. Just do your thing and feel good about it.

It's not rock n' roll to complain, or to complain for the past 15 years even. Let your music explain everything….And it has Billy Corgan!

Anyone who's head is not up their ass knows what you've done for alternative rock, before AND after your explosion of success. Anyone who knows anything about alternative rock has a copy of Gish and/or Siamese Dream. Your sound is your own. You created something new and so far ahead of it's time people are still copying it today. You made great records and built a great band. I know that. I know Spose knows that. He's one of your biggest fans. And he grew up in Maine dude!!

I'm not sure what you're waiting for Billy? An MTV lifetime achievement award? A VH-1 Classic Lifetime achievement award? Miley Cyrus wearing your shirt on stage while she twerks and tongues banana microphones?

That means s--- dude. Just cause people aren't buying your new albums as heavy as they bought you bigger albums doesn't mean you’re overlooked or people don't cherish you. You know what other legendary bands and artists don't sell a lot of their newer music? Like EVERYONE! The Stones, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Van Halen, AC/DC, Manson, etc.

Radio still plays your songs, a lot. Like A LOT. You can still draw people to shows and they will still buy your shirts. You still get attention when you call for it.

You HAVE done it dude and anyone who knows anything, knows that. So sleep well! It seems to me the only thing from stopping you from sleeping well is you staying awake to complain about the industry or something not happening for you. Go to bed man and think about what you've done and what you mean to that kid who picked up a guitar in Idaho or that girl who didn't kill herself cause your first record saved her!

If you think of things that way Billy, I'm sure you'll sleep well... Tonight, Tonight.
