The wait for Broad City's Season 3 return has been equal parts painful and lengthy, but its season premiere is due out this week and, judging by a clip from the first episode, the wait will have been worth it.

The season's premiere made its way online (courtesy of Entertainment Weekly), and offers some insight as to how the episode will kick off when it airs tomorrow night (February 17). The clip shows a split image of Abbi and Ilana in their respective bathrooms, and various activities that have transpired over the past 11 months -- including a reference to 2015’s weirdest viral sensation The Dress.

The show’s two leads (Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer) expanded on the process behind writing Season 3 during an interview with Ellen Page for Interview magazine.

“This season was without a doubt the most difficult to write,” admitted Abbi. "When we were writing season 2, season 1 was still airing, and we really didn't have a break between editing season 1 and writing season 2. So we were really just in it, not getting any feedback and not even getting our own perspective on the show.”

She continued, saying, "For season 3, we had a lot of perspective, and it was very scary and hard, and it took us a little longer to get into it and figure out what we wanted to do. But I feel like we have a better hold on the series. And for us to be writing about ourselves, because it's not us, it's a very difficult thing to wrap your mind around sometimes."

Broad City mercifully returns to television on February 17 at 10PM EST on Comedy Central. In the meantime, you can check out the opening sequence in the video above.
