Boston Bruins coach Claude Julien called his team's effort in Edmonton last night "just average" and that got the Bruins a 3-2 shootout loss to the Oilers.

Edmonton took a one goal lead twice in this one but the Bruins would score to tie the game.

Torey Krug and Zdeno Chara scored the B's goals.

After a scoreless overtime period, it was on to the shootout and if you remember the Bruins don't do well in shootouts. They did not score on any chance while the Oilers beat Tuukka Rask once.
Jordan Eberle scored the winner.

The Bruins drop to 13-8-2. The get one point in the standings for the regulation tie.
