With training camp set to open Thursday, Boston Bruins young talent Tory Krug and Reilly Smith remain unsigned and now the question is - will they hold out until they get a deal?

Both Krug and Smith are considered entry level free agents and as such can only negotiate with the Bruins. The team doesn't have a lot of money left under the salary cap but both players probably played their way to pay raises.

Krug is a highly skilled offensive defenseman. Smith was a big surprise coming to town as part of the deal that sent Tyler Seguin to Dallas. Both earned about $900,000 salaries last year.

They remain the two guys still unsigned and their only leverage is to sit out of camp until there's a deal.

During Chiarelli's time as GM in Boston, no player has held out.

The clock is ticking to Thursday.
