Dana White is known as the prolific owner of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, whose popularity has skyrocketed in the last decade. So it may come as a bit of a surprise to some that White plans to tape an episode of his new reality show Dana White: Lookin' For A Fight here in Maine....but it shouldn't.

Perhaps unknown to some, Dana White has ties to Maine. After being born in Connecticut, White finished his high school years by graduating from Hermon High School in 1987. He also continues to own a home in the small town of Levant, Maine, located in Penobscot County.

According to the Bangor Daily News, those ties to Maine led the UFC to hold a full UFC show back in August of 2014 and serves as an additional reason White is returning with the reality show cameras in tow.

The taping of the episode will take place in Bangor, at the Cross Insurance Center on August 5th. The event will ultimately be a showcase for White and his friends, who may potentially choose one of the fighters featured to book for a future UFC event. White and his friends then typically shoot the remainder of the episode sampling food and culture from the city they are visiting.

The show is available via the UFC channel on YouTube. Tickets for the event go on-sale this Friday.
