Tough to even begin to start to think about messing with a classic movie, but... there's ways it can be done I suppose.

When Dazed and Confused came out it didn't exactly go over like gang busters. Once it found life on VHS to rent and buy, a cult following quickly mounted up.

Next thing you know people are saying "alright, alright, alright.... hehhhhhh" way too much. In this third appearance ever in a movie, this time a major role, Matthew McConaughey stole the show. Who knew this new stoned out Spicoli would go on to be one of the big box office hero's of the later 90's and 2000's.

Also, in just his fourth major movie, who knew Ben Affleck would burst out of Dazed and Confused?! What a role that was too. Fred O'Bannion, that total jerk everyone knows in school who can't chill out at all. He's always got a stick up his ass to mess with people. Ahh, you gotta love those roles in movies. Cause we all know those people. That's what Dazed and Confused did so well. Richard Linklater was kind of an updated John Hughes or better yet, a rated R version of John Hughes. We all knew pretty much most of the people in that movie.

What's he got in store for this new movie? This "sequel".
