Days after guitarist Stephen Carpenter revealed Deftones would put out their next LP in April, the band has confirmed the album title and release date they have in mind for their latest full-length.

Gore will arrive in stores on April 8. The band also shared a 30-second excerpt of new music, which you can hear at the top of the page. When Gore lands, it will follow 2012’s Koi No Yokan.

When Carpenter disclosed Gore’s release date last week, he also said the band had plans to play a few shows in Texas come March (and we already knew they're scheduled to play Travis Barker’s Musink Festival in California that same month). The band has now unveiled all of those dates, plus two more U.S. stops and a handful of gigs abroad. Check out the run of dates below:
