Not only is this one of the best metal/hard rock songs of the year, but I think it's simply one of the best songs of the year.

For Halloween, Stephen Cobert brought Ghost to many many national homes. Many of those homes probably didn't realize though that the band wears those outfits the other 364 days of the year! They didn't dress up just for Halloween. This is what they do.

I have all of their records, but I didn't like them at first. When you see those outfits you want heavy. They are not heavy, but they are "heavy". Their ideas, concepts and lyrics are a dark heavy. They root in 60's/70's cult rock and prog rock for a new generation. Their shows are like masses. The focus is not on one thing, it's on the whole thing as one.

They new record "Meliora" is pretty solid. This though.... not only is this one of the best heavy metal/hard rock songs of the year, but I think it's simply one of the best songs of the year. Watch their time on Colbert! Oh and peep the dope ass keytar solo towards the end.

#metalwin!
