The New England Patriots offense got off to a slow start but exploded for 27 second half points in a 41-13 win over the Miami Doplhins.The win clinches the AFC East for the sixth straight year and it's their 14th in the last 20 years.

Tom Brady threw for 287 yards and two touchdowns, one of them to Julien Edelman as part of his 10 catch day. Kicker Stephen Gostowski kicked a field goal and 5 extra points to become the patriots all-time scoring leader.

Once again the defense was stout allowing just one touchdown, intercepted Ryan Tannehill twice and sacked him four times. They also held the Dolphins to 3-16 on third down attempts.Patrick Chung who had one of the picks finished with a team high 10 tackles. Chandler Jones returned to the lineup after missing the last six games with an injury and added 7 tackles including 1.5 sacks.

The Special teams got the ball rolling by blocking a Miami field goal attempt on their first drive which was scooped up by Kyle Arrington 62 yards for a touchdown.
