Dave Dombrowski has only been on the job as the Red Sox President of Baseball Operations for a short time but has a plan in mind to take the team into the 2016 season.

Dombrowski spoke at a Tuesday press conference to discuss the teams needs for next year and priority number one is to improve the pitching staff form the starters right through the bullpen. One pitcher who remains in limbo is Clay Buchholz as the team holds the option to bring him back for 2016. However Dombrowski when asked said the team has not yet made that move.

With a young talented group of players led by Mookie Betts, Rusney Castillo and Jackie Bradley Jr. ready to take over the outfield, Dombrowski again voiced the clubs commitment to making Hanley Ramirez a first baseman. The question remains weather Ramirez will be part of the team or will the Sox find a trading partner that will get him in a new uniform next season.
