Pretty impressive? I mean lets be real MOST of you have seen MOST of these movies. You grew up on them. Some of those movies raised you. Those movies WERE you and Hughes knew it. He knew teenagers and how to bring that world to the movies for us to watch and say, "yes, I know that person" or "yes, that is totally me". About 25 years ago Hughes stepped out of the spotlight and hid away for the most part from the media and Hollywood. In the late 90's, he gave his last interview, period.

About 10 years after that, some young filmmakers who were proud students of the John Hughes ways of writing and filmmaking set out on a journey to find Hughes and maybe a little more about how he could do the things he did with movies.

This is the documentary of that search mission and the remembrance of the wonderful magic that is John Hughes!
