E.Coli Takes Life of a Toddler After Visit to Oxford Fair According to Parents

Awful story from up north; according to family, their 20 month old school died Monday after contracting E.Colu via HUS after a trip to the Oxford Fair to visit animals. 

According to a BDN report, the child, Colton Guay, barely two years old was being treated for HUS (hemolytic uremic syndrome) which can be caused by E. Coli bacteria sometimes connected to farm animals. The Guay family had just been to the Oxford fair which is where they think little Colton contacted the illness.
