For nearly two decades, Nina's Variety. right off of I-295, has served residents of Falmouth, Cumberland and passersby to the area. It offered an incredible sandwich menu, whoopie pies and a make-your-own ice cream sandwich bar. But according to The Forecaster, the popular variety store has officially gone out-of-business.

The store grew in popularity over the years as a place people in the area could go for affordable lunches, to pick up a couple of items on their commute home from work or on their way for a round of golf at a nearby course. No specific reason was given for the closure, but the town of Falmouth is hopeful that a new business owner will step up to the plate and take over the space.
