We've been waiting for months...now it's finally here!!

Back in April, we learned that Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition was coming to the Portland Science Center this summer. The wait is now over! Tomorrow (Saturday, 6/18), the exhibit opens to the general public. I got to take a sneak peek today, and let me tell you...it did not disappoint!

One hundred four years ago, the RMS Titanic hit an iceberg in the North Atlantic. Within three hours, the largest ship in the world, touted as "unsinkable," was gone. For more than seven decades, pieces of history lay undisturbed, 2.5 miles beneath the surface of the ocean. The wreckage of Titanic was discovered in 1985, and in 1987, recovery of historic artifacts began.

Here's just a small sample of what you will see at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at the Portland Science Center -
