It’s only been a few months since Dave Grohl’s music documentary series, Sonic Highways, finished airing on HBO. Now, fans will be able to buy the show on DVD and digitally as soon as April.

The eight-episode series can be pre-ordered on the Foo Fighterswebsite on March 9 before it’s made available to the public on April 7. When it hits shelves, the series will boast expanded footage that wasn’t included when it originally aired on HBO. That includes extended interviews between Grohl and President Obama, Dan Auerbach, Chuck D, Billy Gibbons, Gibby Haynes, Joan Jett, Ian Mackaye, Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood and Joe Walsh.

The Sonic Highways series followed Grohl and his bandmates as they explored the iconic musical histories of eight U.S. cities: Chicago, Washington, D.C., Nashville, Austin, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Seattle and New York City. During their travels, Grohl sat down with key artists who helped shape those cities’ musical landscapes and culture. At every stop along the way, the Foo Fighters recorded a song inspired by each city, which later appeared on their album of the same name.

Last night (Feb. 18), the Foo Fighters took home the NME award for Best International Band, and while accepting the award, they revealed that they will be one of three headlining acts at this year’s Glastonbury Festival in England.
