With summer in Maine now in full swing, it's time to get outside and enjoy what feels like three weeks of bliss before the winter reclaims us. Everyone knows summer in Maine is the best (and that's coming from someone that spent a semester in Spain in college). That "everyone" includes former Presidents, too!

As reported by WCSH-6 yesterday, Former President George W. Bush was spotted in Kennebunkport at one of his favorite local hangouts, Kennebunkport Bicycle Company. With Walker's Point not far away, it would make sense that this would be a favorite spot of his. I have to say, though - I didn't know he was into cycling! I knew he had taken up painting since his days in the White House, so this came as a pleasant surprise.

I also have to say that it's strange to see any President, W or otherwise, clad in gym attire. I'm used to seeing the impeccably well-kept suits, perfectly tied ties, and cheesy smiles in Presidential portraits. This serves as a nice reminder that even the President isn't immune to having an unflattering pair or shorts or two.
