A top travel publisher has named Portland the #1 city in the WORLD for craft beer.
Most of us already knew that Portland is the best place in the world for beer lovers. But a pretty big website just confirmed our beliefs.
According to the Bangor Daily News, Matador Network just ranked Portland, Maine the world best city for craft beer. The ranking was based on independent breweries per capita, calling out both the big ones and smaller ones by name in the article.
Some other pretty impressive cities made the list behind Portland, including Munich, Germany, Montreal, Canada, and Tokyo, Japan.
