Some people have already purchased the 'smart' thermostat from retailers. Some consumers are now a bit weary of their purchase after learning that Google has purchased "The Nest" for 3.2 billion dollars. This could potentially give Google a lot more personal information about us, other than just what we are looking up on our computers. For example, they will know if we are home, due to movement.
