This has already happened to me several times this winter. Has it happened to you?

Following a snowstorm, I'll shovel my driveway so I have a nice clear path behind my car to get into the street. This way, I don't have to worry about it in the morning. But when I wake up, I see that the street plow came overnight, and now I have a huge snowbank blocking my way, so I have to shovel a second time!

Well in a recent Facebook post, the Maine DOT addresses this issue with a seemingly helpful infographic, which appears to explain what to do in order to avoid having to shovel twice.

So according to this, if you clear the area to the left of your driveway, you won't get plowed in. However, the comments on this Facebook post give the method mixed results:
