Hot Portland Pirates Hockey Goalie Gives a Tour of Portland Restaurants

Portland Pirates goalie Mike McKenna toured around Portland showing off our city's unique culinary delights and sharing why he loves the area so much. The Portland Pirates are now the Florida Panther's AHL affiliate, so a reporter from FOX Sports Florida buddied up with McKenna to see the best of Portland's seafood scene.

Mike visited Eventide and Gilbert's Chowder House and pointed out the buttery, crispy grill marks on his classic lobster roll.

Why does Mike love Maine?

It's not pretentious in any way. One of the really cool things is you can walk in to one of the fancier restaurants in town, wearing the official Maine outfit of Carharts, flannel, and Bean boots, and no one is going to bat an eye at you.
