Have you ever wished that you'd been at Woodstock? Taken up that fringe friend's offer to take you to Bonaroo? Every big live show is a small piece of music history; and if you're lucky, you get to yell that you were there for the filming of "Frampton Comes Alive!" at all the young people who, tragically, have no idea who Peter Frampton is. Well if you've ever wanted it, now's your chance to be a part of a live album!

As reported by WCSH-6, local band The Scolded Dogs are making a live album this Friday night at the East Street Lounge in Hallowell. They're even inviting any local musicians that might be interested to join them up on stage! And before you ask - no, you can't play Wonderwall. They specialize in funk-rock, so you know it'll be a jam and a half.

Personally, I've always wanted to make a live album. Being a musician, there's a certain energy you get out of playing live that you just can't get from the studio, and capturing that on tape is an absolute must, even if only every now and again.

You fan find more info about the Scolded Dogs on their website, which you'll find here.

What's your favorite live album? Let us know in the comments! I'll start: mine is this beauty.
