Is it Weird to Have a Connection…With Your Vehicle? I’m Sad!

Today was a bittersweet day. I said goodbye to a vehicle that has gotten me around for the past eight years. After talking with some people over the past couple of weeks, it's good to know I'm not alone in the whole car connection thing. Often you spend more time with your vehicle than you do your own family and friends. I think the part that bothers me the most is it's going to the "graveyard" for parts, and not going to be driven anymore.

Third gear blew out, which we all know is an important gear. I decided after a lot of thought it was in my best interest to purchase a new vehicle. Some people like to refer to Ford Explorer's as "Exploder's." Maybe some konk out early, not this one. I put hardly any money into it other than the occasional oil changes and general upkeep. RIP ol' trusty vehicle!
