There are series sweeps...and then there are series sweeps like the Red Sox just completed. A 13-3 thrashing last night by the Sox gave them three straight wins, scoring 40 runs and 48 hits in the series against the A's.

Jackie Bradley Jr. continues to be the man. Two more home runs, six RBI and a 17-game hit streak.

Xander Bogaerts and Christian Vazquez had three hit games. Dustin Pedroia hit another homer. In all, a season high 17 hits.

Rick Porcello pitched 6.2 innings to go to 6-1 on the mound.

The Sox are now 21-13, tied for first place with the O's. The Houston Astros come to Fenway next.
