I was at this show, with Spose. Spizzy was on the bill with Weezer, Cage The Elephant and others. It was a summer show for a radio station out there that played Spose a ton on-air. They asked him to play the show. Uh, sure..?!! I do remember being backstage watching this set by STP. It was an open ampitheatre so every sight line was great. I was hanging in a deep conversation with Matt from Cage The Elephant. After their set, Weiland walked from the stage DIRECTLY out to Matt and I, staring at me the whole time. Locked. We were about 40 yards away. He got right up to my face and then stopped.. and smiled like a creepy son of a bitch. Matt was like you know Scott, I was like, "sure. I mean, you know, I have his records." Tthat day is almost still a blur. This tune landed well with people.
