Last month, Montage of Heck director Brett Morgan revealed Universal would issue a Kurt Cobainsolo album” comprised of rare audio. Now, the album's title and release date have been revealed.

Montage of Heck: The Home Recordings will be released on CD, cassette and digitally on Nov. 13 -- the same day as the Montage of Heck DVD (see the movie cover at the bottom of the page). A vinyl copy will be available on Dec. 4.

The album will be issued as both standard and deluxe editions, with the former boasting 13 tracks, while the latter will have 31. As previously reported, Morgen has curated a collection of Cobain’s home recordings that include previously unreleased songs, demos, a comedy sketch and more. Some of the songs included on Montage of Heck: The Home Recordings later surfaced on Nirvana albums; however, Morgen has been sure to note it's "not a Nirvana album."

A “super deluxe” bundle will boast the Montage of Heck DVD, the 31-track deluxe album on CD and cassette, 48 minutes of interview footage, a 160-page book featuring photos and interviews, a movie poster, postcards, a bookmark and puzzle.

Universal will also release a 7” vinyl single featuring Cobain’s cover of the Beatles’ “And I Love Her,” which appeared in the documentary. That will be backed with his “Sappy” demo and is slated for a Dec. 4 arrival, too.
