A lot of time has past, almost two decades! Today we look back and remember the highest attended CYY Patio Show in history. Thousands of people crammed down below and flooded beyond Monument Square. Barenaked Ladies put on a full set that included the infamous Million Dollar Rap!

We thought it would be fun to get front man Ed Robertson from the band on the phone today to talk about the big day in CYY history. He remembers it fondly as well as all of the other fun times we've had with the band over the years. Patio shows, Holiday Bizarre's, playing in listeners living rooms, getting the key to the city.....

Barenaked Ladies will return to the Maine State Pier again for their annual "Last Summer on Earth Tour". Last year, they brought Violent Femmes and former singer of Men At Work, Colin Haye to town. This year, they're stickin' with the 80s nostalgia theme and bringing hit makers OMD and Howard Jones to town on Friday, June 24th!
