Here at CYY, we've always had a thing for local music. That's largely because there's so much good music that comes out of Maine- and the secret's getting out.

Spencer Albee's Beatles Night, which celebrates it's 15th year this weekend, got a great write-up in Rolling Stone a few years ago - they even called it "mind-blowing," so if you've been skipping out on this awesome event, now is the time to step your game and grab some tickets. This will feature in Rave n' Rage later this week, but such an event deserves a post of it's own.

There will be 3 nights this year - Friday will feature a full performance of Revolver; Saturday will see the ensemble bring Sgt. Pepper's to life, and Sunday's Matinee will bring songs that, in Spencer's own words, "won't frighten the kids." Sounds good to us!

As always, there will be a slew of amazing local musicians joining Spencer and his band on stage. To get the full list, check out Spencer's video of our interview earlier today below:

There are still tickets available, but I'm betting they won't last long. Head over to the State Theatre's website to grab them while you still can!
