Blink 182 will headline next years Reading and Leeds Festival. There isn't an exact date but they plan to have a new album released by the time of the festival, which will go down August 22-24, 2014.

I posted last week that Beck will drop two albums next year. The first will be "Morning Phase" with an expected release in February. This will be in the vein of 2002's "Sea Change." He plans to drop another album later in the year.

AWOLNATION are holding fans over with a recent deluxe edition of 2011's "Megalithic Symphony." This has some previously unreleased tunes such as "This Kid's Not Alright" which you can hear on CYY. The sophomore album is expected sometime next year.

U2 are planning an April release for their new album which was produced by Danger Mouse, who's best known for his work with Cee Lo Green in Gnarls Barkley. Bono and the boys are shopping for brand partners to announce the project via a Super Bowl commercial.

Who would've thought Van Halen would reunite with David Lee Roth for an album and a tour last year. Well to the surprise of many, including myself, they plan to do it again next year. Yes, a tour and a new album...wow.

Although 2014 is looking to be another year gone by with no new music from Tool, we have the above to look foward to. Also expect new music from The Offspring, Foster the People AND probably another amazing record from Foo Fighters!
