The Boston Bruins welcomed back former teammate Milan Lucic and then let him and the LA Kings embarrass them on their home ice as the Kings posted a 9-2 win at the Garden.

Lucic received a nice ovation from Boston fans and a tribute from the team before handing the Bruins their worst loss of the season. After trailing by a goal for most of the 1st period the Kings were able to score two goals in the final 1:40 of the first and never look back.

LA would go on to add 4 goals in the second period, the second one was set up by Lucic who would also score his 13th goal of the season as part of a 3-goal third period for the Kings. When the game finally ended LA had fired 57 shots at Bruin goalies.

Tuukka Rask started the game and was pulled after allowing the first 5 goals. Jonas Gustavsson replaced him and allowed the 4 goals.

Boston must find a way to put thee loss behind them as they begin a 6-game road trip, their longest of the season which starts Thursday in Winnipeg.
