Maine’s Favorite Christmas Candy Couldn’t Be More Traditional

You've got to assume that a website like CandyStore.com has to have some expertise when it comes to candy. They wanted to know what the most popular Christmas candy in each state is, and so do we!

They asked 50,000 of their customers and candy manufacturers and distributors to come up with the answer.

Maine's favorite candy is, what else? The candy cane. There really should be no other answer. Not only are they delicious, but they make great tree ornaments and tape really well to that Christmas card you're giving loved ones, especially if they are the mini candy canes. Mainers got it right and so did New Hampshire.

We're not so sure what some other states in the country are thinking. We're looking at you Alabama. Reindeer corn? That's a real thing? Apparently it's the Christmas version of candy corn, one of the most hated Halloween candies. I guess that is unless you live in Alabama.
