Maine’s Favorite Halloween Candy Remains The Same in 2018

Once again, candystore.com has put out their list of each state's favorite Halloween candy and Maine's favorite is still the same.

To come up with each state's favorite Halloween treat, CandyStore.com analyzed sales data from 2007 to 2017 to determine the #1 candy in each state and the runners up based on pounds of candy sold. Once again Maine's favorite is Sour Patch Kids.

Maine is one of only three states who thinks Sour Patch Kids are the best. It must be a northeast thing, because the other two states are Massachusetts and New York.

Starburst came in second in Maine and M&M's were third.

This interactive map will show you what each state picked for the best candy, but come on Mainers! We can do better than Sour Patch Kids. Where's the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup love? At least we didn't choose candy corn.
