It was announced this week that the delightfully terrifying trilogy of a mobile games known as "Five Nights At Freddy's" was being adapted to the big screen thanks to Warner Bros.

History tells us to temper our expectations. Most video game to big screen movies end up being colossal disappointments that either try to be too much like the video game or alter the story too significantly and lose the charm of what made the story popular to begin with. Five Nights At Freddy's has a chance to be much different though. Horror based video games with an easy to follow story are few and far between. If you don't know the what Freddy's is all about, here's a quick synopsis; five kids were murdered at Freddy Fazzbear's Restaurant (a cheap rip off of Chuck E. Cheese) by someone dressed up as a mechanical singing bear. Those children's souls are now stuck there, haunting the mechanical animals in the restaurant and in turn, haunting whomever dares to step into the restaurant late at night. It's a thrilling video game masterpiece and if done right, could be a massive movie franchise. Time will tell. For now, watch the awesome Five Night At Freddy's video game trailer:
