As we get closer to the release of Modest Mouse's 'Strangers to Ourselves,' the alternative rockers have just dropped another track to whet our appetites.

Entitled 'The Best Room,' the track quickly brings us back to Modest Mouse's signature sound with its mid-tempo marching drumbeat and Isaac Brock's vocals. Following the release of 'Lampshades on Fire' and 'Coyotes,' this song will have to hold us over until the actual LP's release now that it was officially moved from March 3 to March 17. Good things are worth waiting for, right?

Despite the pushed back release date, the band did reveal more details about the album. 'Strangers to Ourselves' was recorded at Brock's Ice Cream Party in Portland, Ore., and mixing officially ended earlier this year. Brock produced the album but also got help from Andrew Weiss, Tucker Martine, Clay Jones and Brian Deck. Other collaborators on the record include the Shins' James Mercer, Tom Peloso, Jim Fairchild of Grandaddy, Dann Gallucci of Cold War Kids, Russell Higbee -- formerly of Man Man -- Red Red Meat's Ben Massaralla, Lisa Molinaro from Talkdemonic and Davey Brozowski of the Catheters.

And in case you thought Big Boi also lent his vocals, that's unfortunately a rumor.
