Days after Morrissey delivered another one of his online rants, this one about how much his record company sucks, the singer now claims that the label has dropped him. Probably because he delivered an online rant about how much his record company sucks.

In a new post on True to You, the online mouthpiece for the ex-Smiths frontman's rants, a statement indicates that Morrissey is no longer part of Harvest Record's roster.

Three weeks after the release of Morrissey's World Peace Is None Of Your Business (#2 UK, #14 US), Capitol Records/Harvest have ended their relationship with Morrissey, as directed by label boss Steve Barnett.
Morrissey is once again in search of a record label.

Early this week, Morrissey lashed out at the record company for not promoting his latest album, ‘World Peace Is None of Your Business,’ properly. He went out of his way to individually thank some fans who helped spread the words with YouTube videos.

It was a pointed jab at the record label for not doing its job. And now, apparently, the company has struck back by dropping the singer, who's been through this sort of thing before. So far, there hasn't been any confirmation on any of this from Harvest Record's side.
