The Stanley Cup is the oldest championship trophy in all of professional sports. It's been awarded to the NHL champion since 1926, with roots dating all the way back to 1893. It is the most prestigious award a hockey player can win and on Friday, March 8th, as the Maine Mariners host the South Carolina Stingrays, the ECHL team of the  Washington Capitals who are the most recent Stanley Cup champions. Lord Stanley's Cup will be proudly displayed in the CN Brown landing, located in the concourse above the Cross Insurance Entrance of the arena at the corner of Spring and Center Streets.

Fans will be able to get a pic with the Cup with purchase of a game ticket, one photo per fan will be allowed, a Mariners promo team member will be on hand to assist with photos, but please provide your own camera.

The next Maine Mariners home game is tomorrow night, November 2nd, as the Mariners take on the Reading Royals at 7:30pm.
