Everyone has their thing they collect right? For me it's music, movies, music related posters & artwork, hats, Converse Chuck Taylors, Celtics stuff and... some boobleheads.

Now let me start by saying I'm not a super nutty fanatic. I don't own hundreds of them. Not even a hundred. I just collect the ones I like really. There's certain ones that hit me. It might be that they're such an original idea for a bobblehead character or they might be a music, athlete, actor, person I'm a fan of as well. It's one of those things when I see one that hits me the right way - I'll snag it.

I'll never forget; before my booble collecting interests set in, I kept passing by the Buddy Holly one they used to always have at Newbury Comics. I kept saying I'm gonna get that one. It would have been my first. This was years ago. Easily... 15 years ago at least. Yet I kept passing by every time until it was no longer there. Now, you can get into some big bucks for collector ones on the internet, but I'm not there yet. I'm sure Buddy "Lives" somewhere on line for $50+ but I learned my lesson good. I don't pass em up now! I will find Buddy again some day!

PS.. if anyone went to that particular Red Sox game and doesn't want their Fred Lynn bobblehead, I'm your guy!
