It always seems like a scene from a novel. Someone rolls up a handwritten note of love or longing for another and inserts it into a bottle then throws it into uncertain waters!

Over the years of gusty winds and seasons of chaotic weather, that little bottle floats along while the one who dispersed it is off somewhere going to work, drinking rum in a member's only club, having a pizza or bowling. The bottle floats on. Hours turn to days, days to months, months to years, years to decades, decades to a century mark in this case.
