ONE YEAR AGO: You Gotta See Portland’s Crazy Hailstorm in Slo-Mo!

A year ago this week, my wife and I left the Portland peninsula just after probably wildest weather event we'd ever experienced during a Maine summer. We headed back to Westbrook via Baxter Boulevard, saw leaves all over the roads, street flooding, and what looked like snow on people’s lawns. Driving home from work in Portland on August 4, 2015 was crazy for most Blimpsters. Heavy wind, torrential rain, lightning and coin-sized hail falling hard and fast. Lots of folks said  this was the most intense hailstorm they’d ever seen. It’s even cooler when you can watch in SLO-MO!
