The agent for Hicks confirmed the deal while his client was participating in Saints practice on Wednesday.

In 4 seasons with the Pats Hooman had 20 receptions for 289 yards and a touchdown. He slipped on the depth chart this season with the additions of Scott Chandler in the off-season and recently acquired Michael Williams who played in from of Hooman in the Jacksonville blowout win.
