Even Bill Belichick talked this week about that game in Miami last January. The last game of the regular season and a chance to lock up AFC home field playoff advantage. The Pats lost 20-10.

So many things are different as these team meet today at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. Jimmy Garopollo will run the show. Tight end Rob Gronkowski may not play. So too, linebacker Donta Hightower.

But the Patriots are coming off that opening night win in Arizona. The Dolphins lost in week one.

Here are three reasons the Patriots will win today...

1) Since Gillette Stadium opened in 2002 the Patriots are 13-1 in home season openers.

2) Since 200 (Belichick's first year), the Patriots vs AFC East opponents...73-27.

3) Belichick's record vs the Fins...20-12

Oh...one more reason why the Patriots will likely win...have you heard the Dolphins fight song?
