Under the catagory of you never know, the light hitting Tampa Bay Rays pounded David Price for eight runs in 3.2 innings and the Sox lost to the Rays 12-8.

Price was staked to a 5-1 lead after one inning but Tampa came back with a six run fourth inning(above).

Then the Sox came back to tie the game 8-8 in the seventh inning.

But the Boston bullpen did not hold down the fort and the Rays scored four more times and take the three game series 2-1.
