Poor College Student Asks For Help Paying Portland Parking Ticket

As a former poor college student and current poor radio DJ, I can sympathize. But Reddit is not the place to ask this for positive responses. 

Reddit user Airsh001 asked the Portland community if there were any loopholes in paying a parking ticket in the city because, well, they are a poor college student. If you know anything about Reddit, then you can probably expect to be torched by people. One thing worked in the student's favor though, they admitted that it was their fault for getting the parking ticket because of an expired meter. Some people offered positive suggestions:

Maybe that wasn't exactly positive, concrete advice.

Stern but fair advice. But the whole point of the Reddit post was to get out of the ticket somehow.

Not even sure this advice makes sense. Actually, it doesn't make any sense. Wiping your tush with a parking ticket will not have any effect on whether you have to pay it. Once again, Reddit fails to bring any sage advice to a young college student. Any CYY listener out there have some?
