The Red Sox jumped on Tampa Bay pitching for five runs in the first two innings and went on to beat the Rays 7-3 last night. The Sox are back to .500 at 7-7.

Mookie Betts had two hits, including a 2-run homer. David Ortiz had two and three RBI.

Perhaps the biggest story was starter Rick Porcello. Seven innings of three run, six hit pitching. Porcello struck out nine and walked just one. He is now 3-0.
