After several complaints from Pokemon Go players, Portland is working to cut down cell phone dead zones in the area. Ok, that's probably not what prompted this but either way, it could definitely be a good thing. Maybe you struggle with dead zones from time to time or even worse, your service sucks where you live.

The Forecaster reports that City Manager Jon Jennings and Councilor David Brenerman said city properties could soon provide a platform for better cell phone reception.

In other possible good news, Jennings said the city is also seeking out ways where parking meters could be paid digitally. This would eliminate the need for you to scour your vehicle for change or even have to use credit cards at all.
