Portland’s Christmas Tree Arrives for Rockin’ Holiday Concert [VIDEO]

Portland's Christmas tree arrived in Monument Square Thursday morning on a flat bed truck before it was carefully lifted and positioned into place as the city gets ready to welcome the holiday season and we get ready for our Rockin' Holiday Concert.

The city will hold its annual tree lighting ceremony on Friday, Nov. 28 at 5:30 p.m. CYY will be doing a live concert on the our patio beginning at 5 p.m. and then following the tree lighting ceremony.

The live concert and tree lighting are both free and will provide a fun way for families to come together right after Thanksgiving to celebrate the season. So bundle up and head out to Monument Square to witness what will be dazzling holiday spectacle!
