Members of Queens of the Stone Age, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and OFF! have teamed up on a new supergroup dubbed Ten Commandos.

Comprised of former QOTSA bassist Alain Johannes, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron, Soundgarden’s Ben Shepherd and OFF!’s Dimitri Coats, Ten Commandos will drop their self-titled debut sometime in November via Monkeywrench. Today (Oct. 9), they have shared “Staring Down the Dust,” featuring vocals from Mark Lanegan. Take a listen below; that’s the single artwork at the bottom of the page.

“This was the first song we recorded and we finished the rhythm track very quickly,” Cameron told Rolling Stone of Ten Commandos' lead single. “We all liked the sound and feel of the song, but once we heard Mark Lanegan’s vocals on it, he took it to another level completely.”

The band described their sound as “really heavy and doomy” and previously cited Soundgarden’s Superunknown as a touchstone. Their debut will also feature contributions from Peter Frampton and Nikka Costa.
